Sweet Marigold, also known as Mexican Tarragon, Tagetes Lucida and Yauhtli, is a member of the Sunflower family. It is a lightgreen plant with yellow orange flowers, which grows in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico. The fresh herb is used worldwide for cooking, because of its savoury anise-like flavour. The herb is also used to relax the stomach and for feeling better after consuming large quantities of alcohol.
Usage: Drink as tea, or use in small amounts for cooking.
